Our culture

Join the Academy of European Law (ERA), where over three decades of excellence in advancing European legal education meet a dynamic and collaborative environment. Become part of a team dedicated to shaping the future of European law through innovative training and knowledge-sharing with legal professionals across Europe.

We envision being the leader in the continuous education in European law for legal practitioners by providing training and a platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience with a view to strengthening a cohesive legal culture within the European Union.
The Academy of European Law (ERA) aims to promote the values of the European Union and to contribute to the effective and uniform application of EU law.

Our mission is to empower judges, prosecutors, lawyers, regulators, civil servants and other legal practitioners across Europe, with the knowledge, skills, and networks they need to apply European law effectively.

Through comprehensive educational programmes, expert-led seminars, and collaborative fora, we support the consistent application and development of European law.
We are committed to creating an environment that fosters professional development and the exchange of expertise among practitioners from diverse national and professional backgrounds.
Ultimately, we contribute to serving the public interest and to promoting the European values.
